Hazardous Waste Depots
All County residents may bring their materials to any of these depots unless otherwise indicated. Depots open in June and operate until late August. The Pido Road Depot in Peterborough is open year-round.
Extended Seasonal Household Hazardous Waste Depot Hours
- Havelock Area: 6th Line Transfer Station, 900 6th Line Belmont, Havelock, September 12 until September 26, Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Selwyn Area: Smith Landfill, 1480 County Road 18, Selwyn - September 12 until September 26, Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Buckhorn Area: Buckhorn Transfer Station, 37 Dump Road, Buckhorn - September 13 until September 27, Sundays, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.Â
- Apsley Area: Anstruther Transfer Station, 400 Anstruther Lake Road, Apsley - Until September 13, Sundays 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., September 20 and September 27, Sundays 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
