Winter Maintenance Operator Job Fair
Peterborough County is hosting a Winter Maintenance Operator Job Fair on August 22, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Best Western Hotel in Peterborough to connect prospective candidates with seasonal winter operations career opportunities.
The event will provide information about Seasonal Winter Maintenance Operator positions, including training and licensing requirements, compensation, schedules, and the recruitment process.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with current employees and hiring representatives and learn more about the important role winter maintenance operators play in keeping County roads safe during the winter season.
Batteries do not belong in the garbage.
Batteries may be recycled year-round at community drop off locations (see below) or at our Household Hazardous Waste Depots. Drop off locations are subject to change.
