ALTO High Speed Train

The Alto highspeed train project is a planned, electrified rail network that aims to connect Toronto, Peterborough, Ottawa, Laval, Montréal, Trois-Rivieres, and Québec City along roughly 1,000 km of dedicated track, with trains operating at speeds of up to 300 km/h. Announced by the federal government in February 2025, the project is led by the Crown corporation Alto in partnership with the private consortium Cadence. 

Community Care

Wheelchair accessible Caremobile vehicles that travel throughout the County to take clients to appointments in the County of City of Peterborough. Service is available to individuals with physical challenges who cannot access conventional transportation. Clients may use the service for medical appointments, education, shopping, social activities and planned special events. 

GO Transit

GO Transit connects Peterborough County to the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area via bus service from Oshawa GO. There is a stop at County Road 10 and Highway 115 before the route continues into the City of Peterborough. 

Peterborough Airport

Peterborough Airport has a passenger terminal, two runways, and numerous services available for private, charter and general aviation.

Are you travelling between Peterborough, Lakefield, Bridgenorth, Ennismore and Curve Lake? Consider taking The Link Bus Service. A joint project between Selwyn Township, Curve Lake First Nation, Community Care Peterborough and the City of Peterborough.
