Peterborough County/City Waste Management Facility (Bensfort Road Landfill) 

Peterborough County's curbside and transfer station garbage is landfilled here. All residents are also able to utilize the services available. Please visit the landfill website for details on accepted items, tipping fees, and hours of operation.

Charitable organizations based in the City and County of Peterborough may apply to have their tipping fee waived at the Bensfort Road landfill. A link to the online application is available below. Applicants will be required to provide details about their organization, the amount of material that is diverted from the landfill each year, the amount of material sent to the City-County landfill, as well as waste diversion education initiatives.
