Don’t toss it! The Repair Café is here to help you fix it!

Repair Cafe Peterborough is a group of volunteer fixers with wide ranging skills in mending and repair of everyday items.

What is a Repair Café?

Repair Cafés are free, and the goal is to repair things (together). At the event you’ll find tools and materials to help you make any repairs you need. On clothes, furniture, electrical appliances, bicycles, crockery, appliances, toys, et cetera. You’ll also find expert volunteers, with repair skills in all kinds of fields.

How to participate?

Bring along broken items from home. Together with the specialists you can start making repairs in the Repair Café. It’s an ongoing learning process. If you have nothing to repair, you can still come see what it’s all about. Or you can lend a hand with someone else’s repair job.

Learn about Sustainability action in our community.

During the event there will be demonstrations of sewing repair, visible mending and more!
