Peterborough County Responds in a Statement to City of Peterborough Release “Facilitated Discussions Underway to Support Future Growth Opportunities in the Peterborough Region”

Peterborough County, ON – The County is aware of the release issued by the City. We have had only one meeting (which was today), at which the City presented their Lands Needs Study; the County and Township have not yet had a similar opportunity. 

As we are in negotiations with the City, facilitated by the Provincial Facilitator and bound to a confidential process, the County will abide by the terms of the agreement that all parties signed and will not provide further information at this time.
