Parking

Parking in Peterborough County is regulated under the Parking Regulation By-law No. 2023-26.

The Parking Regulation By-law is in full effect and will be enforced by officers of Peterborough County and/or The City of Peterborough.

Within the by-law is an Administrative Monetary Penalty System which will be administered by the City of Peterborough. The payment methods, or hearing options, will be laid out on the back of the parking ticket.

The County has appointed Parking By-law Enforcement Officers employed by Kewley Security, who can be contacted after standard business hours at 705-243-4725, option 5.

During the winter months, from 11:00 pm and 7:00 am, between the 15^th day of October to the 15^th day of May, inclusive, parking overnight on County roads is prohibited to allow for winter maintenance operations.
