GreenUP
Peterborough County Council is committed to addressing and achieving the greenhouse gas emissions reductions targets identified in our Climate Change Action Plan. Since 2021, the County has been working with GreenUP to provide homeowners, businesses, and educators with resources and programming that enable climate action. The community has a critical role to play in protecting our environment for future generations, and we hope you take advantage of these regional resources.
Home Energy
GreenUP is working with the County to help existing homes become more energy and water efficient and be more adaptable to climate risks.
Reducing bills, improving comfort, and reducing polluting emissions are all possible. Grant and loan programs are available to help you and the County become more efficient.
