Peterborough County and Havelock-Belmont-Methuen have jointly partnered on the road reconstruction project of County Road 48 (George St.) in the Village of Havelock. View the Preliminary Construction Phasing Plans.
Details:
- Work will begin the week of July 15th, 2024 and continue until November 2024
- Work will take place between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm
- Staged road closures will be required
- Business will remain open
- Alternative parking will be available
- Emergency Services access will be maintained
- Pedestrian access will be maintained
- The removal and replacement of buried infrastructure, such as water mains, sanitary sewers and storm sewers
- The removal and replacement of concrete sidewalks
- Installation of concrete curb and gutters
- The removal and replacement of the asphalt roadway surface
