Growth Analysis
As part of the development of the new County Official Plan, a Growth Analysis must be undertaken in accordance with the Provincial Growth Plan. This analysis involves a review of Provincial population and employment forecasts, growth allocations and a land needs assessment that follows a Provincial Land Needs Assessment Methodology. The results of the Growth Analysis determine the density at which development in our serviced settlement areas should happen, and whether there are sufficient lands available in settlement areas to accommodate our projected growth to the year 2051.
