Agriculture Profile Update 2024

In 2023, Peterborough County Federation of Agriculture in cooperation with Kawartha Lakes Haliburton Federation of Agriculture retained Planscape to update the understanding of the state of agriculture in these two municipalities. The report provides an update on the agricultural profile of the Peterborough County and the City of Kawartha Lakes. The report also describes some of the broader trends affecting the agricultural industry. The intent is to identify relevant trends that will support decision making regarding future agricultural policies and initiatives.
