The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) is responsible for the overall administration and operation of Peterborough County and reports to County Council. The CAO is the most senior, non-elected officer for the County and is charged with exercising general control and management of the affairs of the corporation in accordance with County Council-approved policy.
