Getting to Peterborough County
GO Transit connects Peterborough County to the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area via bus service from Oshawa GO. There is a stop at County Road 10 and Highway 115 before the route continues into the City of Peterborough.
Peterborough Airport has a passenger terminal, two runaways, and numerous services available for private, charter, and general aviation.
The Trans Canada Trail runs through two townships of Southern Peterborough County and offers connections to other trail networks within our region for cyclists and adventurers!
The Trent-Severn Waterway is a system of rivers, lakes, locks, and canals that is operated by Parks Canada starting in Trenton and extending to Port Severn. Many of the lakes in Peterborough County are accessible via this system.
Driving to Peterborough County
Peterborough County is just a 2.5 - 4 Hours drive away from our national capital. Simply travel West on Highway 417 and then continue onto Highway 7 West into Peterborough County.
Peterborough County is just a 1.5 - 2.5 hours drive from Toronto Pearson International Airport. Simply take Highways 407 East (tolled) or 401 East to Highway 115 North and travel into Peterborough County.
Peterborough County is just a 2-3 Hours drive North-East of our provincial capital. From downtown, take the Don Valley Parkway North to Highway 401 East and then Highway 115 North into Peterborough County.
