Canadian Navigable Waters Act - NPP File Number 1963-400030 - Nogies Creek Bridge

The County of Peterborough hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport, pursuant to the Canadian Navigable Waters Act for approval of the work described herein and its site and plans.

Pursuant to paragraph 7(2) of the said Act, the County of Peterborough has deposited with the Minister of Transport, on the on-line Common Project Search Registry (http://cps.canada.ca/) under the NPP File Number 1963-400030 a description of the following work, its site and plans:

  • The project includes removal of existing asphalt and waterproofing system;
  • Scarification of the deck top and new concrete overlay;
  • Replacement of the concrete curbs;
  • Removal and replacement of expansion joints and approach slabs;
  • Repair deteriorated concrete from abutments, wingwalls and soffit;
  • New coating for structural steel girders; 
  • Installation of new code compliant barrier system; and
  • Complete waterproofing and paving.

 

The Project Site is located on County Road 36 over Nogies Creek, at approximately 44° 35' 11.18" N x 78° 30' 39.24" W, Nogies Creek Bridge, Lot 21, Concession 16, Municipality of Trent Lakes, County of Peterborough, in the Province of Ontario.

Comments will be considered only if they are in writing (electronic means preferable) and are received not later than 30 days after the publication of the last notice. Although all comments conforming to the above will be considered, no individual response will be sent.
